some of the questions we get often:

When will my windows arrive?
The most common question we get is “how long does this all take?” Well, it depends. The majority of the products we order – windows, doors, patio doors – are custom made. So we are dependent on the factory producing the product and then shipping it to us. While lead times have gotten better the past few months, we are still experiencing unprecedented delays. 12 Penny Exteriors, Inc. will keep you informed as to when we can expect to receive your windows or doors or whatever you ordered from us. All we ask is that you remain patient and know that we want to finish your installation almost as badly as you do!
Which siding is best, wood, fiber cement, or vinyl?
There is no easy answer to this question and it really depends on a few factors. 1) Your budget. Believe it or not, wood tends to carry the greatest investment these days, followed by Fiber Cement and then Vinyl (although it is getting closer.) For some, budget is the number one priority. 2) Maintenance. How badly do you want to maintain your siding throughout the years? Each choice comes with different levels of maintenance. There is no such thing as “no maintenance” but there is such a thing as “less maintenance.” 3) The look. I find it interesting that all products that aren’t wood – vinyl, fiber cement, composite – all have the same goal: To look just like wood! Wood is timeless, has the longest track record, and will never go out of style.

While there is no easy answer, your 12 Penny Consultant can definitely give you the pros and cons of any siding choice and then come up with the best solution for you and your home.
